Sleeping Cue

Shhh! It's the Blue Bride by Peak's Woods. If you follow my blog, you'll know I've been waiting for-like-EVER to add a sleeping Peak's Woods girl to my collection--and oh my! I'm so happy and thrilled with Cue.

She's amazing. You can see a few more photos of her on Flickr.

Here, she is dressed in a limited edition Dollheart called Vampire Wedding, offered with a tanned Goldie several years ago.

You can still order Sleeping Cue from Peak's Woods. You'll just feel all at peace when you see your new girl! (If completely closed eyes aren't for you, you might check out Wake-Up Cue or Cue instead!)

Little Queen will be available to order tomorrow!

The Little Queen is now listed on Peak's Woods website as the next full set doll. She will be available for preorder starting tomorrow, April 25, 2012 through May 25, 2012. Lay away is available as well.

This gorgeous Fairy of Fairytales girl uses the Rabbit Goon sculpt with a limited face-up, which is included in the $332 base price. You choose normal or white skin. Two pairs of hand parts, 14mm crystal acrylic eyes (random in color), a box, cotton cushions and a certificate of authenticity are also included. 

When you add the dress ($150), you also receive the gown, skirt, bloomers, stockings, shoes and hairband.

I'm noticing that the wig isn't listed, so I might drop them a line and ask if the wig is extra or random. I know Peak's Woods includes lovely eyelashes on their dolls, and I really adore the red lashes on this little lady!

Also, I haven't heard yet if there will be a free monthly fairy for April and May--the last one was a winking cutie, and was included with any order of a full doll.

A sneak preview of the next limited edition full set BJD is up on Peak's Woods home page... and they are out to get me. This gorgeous girl is the same size as Hucky--27cm or a little over 10", about YoSD size--and she is just adorable. She uses the Rabbit Goon sculpt, which is a dreaming version of Naomi.

I am absolutely captivated by her facial screening.

I adore historical dolls, and I just don't know how I will be able to pass her by! (I probably won't.) I'll keep you posted on the details, as soon as they are available. After I order mine, of course. ;)

Wow--if I had a money tree, these two new sisters from Iplehouse have my name all over them. They are simply gorgeous. Available as limited edition dolls through April 15, you can custom order these gorgeous girls as follows:

Base price is $581for the 60cm resin BJD, normal skin. Peach Gold is $610 and Special Real is $638. 14mm eyes (random in color) and extra high heel feet are included. This includes general type thigh joints. Add $20 for a mobility joint. You can choose the breast size: medium, large or glamour (no extra charge).

Three make-up styles are offered at an additional $70.

The outfit (available in blue or pink, your choice) is available for an additional $259. When you purchase the outfit, Iplehouse will pierce your doll's ears for no additional cost. Plus, the corset will be custom fit to your doll. You may also buy both outfits.

There are two wigs you may purchase at $28, and you may additionally choose two hair accessories for and additional $5 or $8.

Shoes are also available for $35 per pair.

Let's see... if I had my "druthers"... I think Emilia in Special Real Skin, make up type C, with the blue dress, wig type B. So hard to choose!

Two new Peak's Woods limited edition dolls are available now.

Blue Bride Viyol and Sleeping Cue includes limited make-up, and your choice of a white or normal skin, large or regular bust for $602 each. Sleeping Cue also includes the option for black tears as well.

Both dolls include an extra pair of hands, blue crystal acrylic eyes shown in the photos, a random wig, a pair of cotton cushions for shipping and a certificate of authenticity.

If you've already got the doll, the heads are also available separately for $230 per head. This is a really unusual step for Peak's Woods, and a great time for you to pick up a gorgeous limited edition head for use $230 per head.

Additionally, don't forget that every order for a full doll will include a free ShuShu 8 cm mini doll as a free gift.

Blue Bride Viyol by Peak's Woods

Dolls are available from January 25 - February 25, 2012 only, and lay-away is accepted.

You have until January 31 to enter the "We need a punch line" competition, where you can help write a little photo story about ShuShu, the Fairy of the Sun.

New basic dolls available from Rapa

Rapa's factory has released its first two basic dolls, Luma and Lail. Each stands 16cm tall, with magnetic feet and hands. The basic price is $200, which includes:

• doll and basic head
• shoe parts (your choice of 5 colors)
• certification
• box
• random eyes

You can add a top and pants for $30. Body blushing is $10, blushing hands and feet $5. Default face-up is $30.

The dolls can share clothing with Lati Yellow and Rosenlied Monday's Child.

The order period is limited--from December 18 through January 1, only--so if you're interested, don't delay!

Peak's Woods new Suntan FOC, Shaia.

I'm thrilled to tell you that I saw the website change this morning at 7AM PST to see Peak's Woods' brand new sculpt, Shaia. She is the new Fairy of Color - Silver, and stands 58cm tall. She will only be available to order through December 27.

This version is a limited edition suntan with limited edition make-up. (The gold glitter around her eyes is an option.) $622 is her retail with an additional $80 for a face-up. This will get you:

• Fully assembled suntan Shaia
• An extra pair of hand parts
• Pair of random color 16-18mm eyes
• A random color wig
• A set of cushions and
• Her Certificate of Authenticity.

Additionally, you may choose between the large or regular bust option, and whether you'd like to add gold glitter.

Shaia reminds me of a combination of Goldie, Briana and Lavin, and I think she's amazing.

Details, details, details

In one section of my book, I discuss the idea of quality as far as ball-jointed dolls are concerned. Upon browsing the News forum today on Den of Angels, I came across an unknown-to-me BJD manufacturer, Rapa's Factory, and promotional photos of their new doll, Forest Fairy Bin.

I haven't ordered from this company before, but I am sorely tempted. This BJD is merely 16cm tall. That's a little over 6.25 inches. First, the doll has an adorable little face with huge eyes. What I observed most, however, is the dolls amazing feet. Look at the bottom of the feet--they are just amazingly sculpted.

This tiny doll is only available for preorder between December 6 through December 16, 11:59 PM South Korean time. The full-set price is $250, basic doll is $200, with shipping additional. Only white skin is available. The basic set includes both the basic and sleeping face, body, and random 12mm eyes. The full-set includes the body, the basic and sleeping faces, both with face-ups, wing parts and extra foot parts, and random eyes.

The body is double-jointed and has tons of articulation, which can be seen on their website in the doll parts section. The hands, feet and face-plates are attached with magnets.

Available from November 29 through December 13 only, this lovely new sculpt from Peak's Woods is available for $602. This price includes her limited edition face-up, the assembled Fairy of Color (58 cm or about SD13) doll, an extra pair of hands, random acrylic eyes, random wig, a pair of cotton cushions and certificate of authenticity. You may choose between a large or regular bust and white or normal resin.

She is the second in five holiday offerings from Peak's Woods this year. Tanned Goldie is also still available through December 6, when the next doll will be released, Vamp Briana.

Additionally, Peak's Woods has released a new YoSD-sized outfit, Snow White, and SD-sized outfit, Little Lady, on their website. Plus, a new long, straight blonde wig with bangs is available for YoSD-, MSD- and SD-sized dolls, as well.

The Nutcracker Christmas Event at Lati Doll

Love Lati? If you don't mind a little bit of unpredictable shipping (I've had one doll ship in four weeks, and one I'm going on eight weeks now), these tinies have an adorable-ness that I simply cannot pass by! All of these are the Lati Yellow 16cm sized dolls. All dolls include a mini resin nutcracker.

The dolls will be sold from November 25 through December 11.

First, we have Mystic Lumi as Clara. $300 for the basic doll, $420 for the full set.

Next, is Lumi as the Princess. $300 for the basic doll, and $435 for the full set, which includes the resin crown as an optional part.

(Mystic) Lea makes an appearance as a Soldier. $300 for the basic doll, $415 for the full set, and $535 for the open eye head as well. This doll is cast in event tan resin.

Lea also appears as the Prince. $300 for the basic (open eye) doll, $430 for the full set, and $550 to add the Mystic (dreaming) head in addition. He has a optional crown as well.

Grown Up Belle is the Mouse King. $300 for the basic tan doll, $445 for the full set, including the optional crown, ears and tail parts.

Elf Benny appears as a Deer. $300 for the basic doll, and $440 for the full set, including antlers and tail. He is also in tan resin.

Elf Coco appears as a sweet Sugar Plum Fairy. $300 for the basic doll, $470 for the full set, including crown, antenna and clear resin wings.

Last, but not least, is the resin Christmas version of the Nutcracker. $180 for the unpainted and unassembled doll, $300 for the full set. He appears to be strung and have a working mouth.

Vampire torso from Peak's Woods...

The Bitten torso is back and available as an optional item for your doll when you order a Fairy of Color (Peak's Wood's large or SD 58 cm BJD).

It is available with the small bust only, and you can get it painted or blank, in normal or white skin (Goldie is white). This option is only available through October 31. The torso alone is $135, add make-up for $10, and include the rest of the body for an additional $330.

Honey Queen tanned Yeru, limited edition by Peak's Woods

Peak's Woods new tanned dolls are available to order and have prices listed. They are all so lovely, I don't know how I'm going to decide. Here are the details:

One of their most adorable sculpts, Fairy of Color (58cm) Yeru Honey Queen, $619 plus $80 for the limited face up, includes your choice of a normal or large bust (the large fits DollHeart outfits better), an extra pair of hands, a random pair of 18-20mm eyes, a random wig (though I'd kill for the one she's wearing--it's adorable!), cushions and certificate of authenticity. Yeru has a super sweet anime style face.

If you prefer a more realistic sculpt, Yeru The Soul may be the Fairy of Color for you. She is the same price, $619 plus $80 for a limited face-up, and includes all the items above. In her promotional photos, she is wearing wig number P-00 in color #88, which is often included as one of the random wigs.

Honey Princess Lady Bee is available for $409 plus $80 for her face-up. She includes an extra pair of hands, a random pair of 18mm acrylic eyes, a pair of cushions and a certificate of authenticity. The wig is extra, and the one shown is P-05 in color #88.

Finally, we have Honey Princess Wake Up Lady Bee Romantic Elf. This doll has elf ears. She includes all of the above items as well, and is also listed for $409 plus $80 for her limited edition face-up. I don't see her wig listed.

I just love them all--but if I had to choose one, I'd choose Wake Up Lady Bee. I'd love to get Yeru, too. We'll see if I can sell some dolls to pay for both. Peak's Woods will do generous lay-away plans, and the dolls are on sale from now through September 30. Don't miss out--the tan resin is gorgeous.
