Papana, the Player Slayer

I have been looking for outfits that fit my new DD-Anne Fairygarden Papana, and I realized this slim mini girl is close to Tyler Wentworth in size. As I was redressing one of my fashion dolls, I figured I'd try this Integrity Toys Tulabelle 16" fashion on her. It's called Player Slayer.

The jeans barely hooked, but they do--and they are so cute, if a little long. The top is also a bit scoopy on her, but it works, especially with the fuzzy cape. It gives her such a different look! I think it's just adorable, and I can't wait to try additional IT fashions on her--I have a bunch for my Chicline girls.

New DollHeart arrival...

Miss Ante (Fairyland Minifee Moe-line) is modeling a new arrival from DollHeart. It's called Mia, and sized for Mini Dollfie Dream. It includes a cream colored, lace-trimmed sleeveless dress, pink and cream cardigan, stockings and a chain necklace. It fits her Moe-line body quite well, though I think other outfits may be slightly snug through the hips.

I was browsing on DollHeart's website this morning--never a good idea when you're trying to downsize your collection!--and found eight new outfits for Mini Dollfie Dream! Most look like they are coming soon, but there are two I really love: Sydney (also sized for MSD) and Paige.

While the outfits are a little pricey, in general, I love DollHeart's attention to detail and scale of fabric. It's hard to find. Plus, I love the accessories--stockings and lockets, for example. I think that sort of thing adds a lot to an outfit. I guess it's just a preference!

Limited edition Peak's Woods Segi has arrived!

She's here! And she's even more lovely in person than her promo photos. It's Peak's Woods limited edition Segi. I'm just thrilled. I was excited to wake up to the postal carrier this Saturday morning, who delivered her--along with her cohort, Dandy Tristan!--in a huge box.

New DollHeart release

There are lots of new goodies for preorder from DollHeart, available for preorder with an August delivery date, something for every BJD collector, I think!

I'm pleased to see the casual collection take off like this. Above, you can see Jacob and Sydney, sized for MSD and similar. They are available separately for $84.90 each or as a set for $169.90.

Above, sized for SD13 and DDM, you can see Shelby ($99.90) and Tyler ($129.90), sized for SD17 Boy/65cm Boys. You can also save a little when you purchase these two as a set for $219.90. 

In the YoSD section, you can also preorder Andrew for $79.90.

And above, you can see Riley for $79.90. Many pieces of the outfits are available separately, too.

As part of the Rainbow Fairy series, Oona is sized for slim MSD and Unoa. It is truly adorable, a fairy a la DollHeart, $89.90.

Cirno is the YoSD size Rainbow fairy, and she's super cute in blue. Her outfit is $79.90. The other two fairies are sized for Azone Pure Neemo.

There is also a new style of outfit available, too--a fantasy cat, I'd call it. Burmese, sized for MSD boy (right) is $84.90. Burmilla, sized for MSD girl, is $84.90. You can save some in purchasing these as a set for $159.90. The outfits include overalls (for Burmese) and a dress (Burmilla) and all accessories, plus a tail, cat ear hat or headband, and paw gloves.

Janus Miho hybrid is here!

Thanks to Den of Angels (for the body) and Migidoll for their amazing head event, I was able to put this fantastic hybrid together.

Janus Miho (with standard makeup, if you can believe it) is a Migidoll, Type A normal skin head. I originally fell in love with his quirky little smirk at Migidoll's booth at the KBJD show--and I don't know what kept me from buying his there--but more than likely, it's because I didn't own any large boys at the time. He's an M-series limited edition head; it's unfortunate, since he's so cool--but check out the other sculpts they have! Migi has a style all their own--with amazing face ups! (Migidoll was formerly known as Cherish Doll, I believe.)

His body is actually by Doll-Leaves. This Chinese company has disappointed me in the past with a couple tiny dolls of theirs I have owned--due to stringing issues and my own impatience--never because of quality or customer service. I found a 60cm male body for sale on Tumblr and also on Den of Angels for a good price--and the seller had former used this body as a hybrid for a Type A normal Migi head. I thought this would probably work for my guy, too! We even ended up being able to trade, which went perfectly.

The body works well, and I'm thrilled. I have another set of photos to upload, but I'm too excited no to share the first good one before the day's first nap.

Yeru the Soul in Little Moda

So exactly how many outfits did I purchase from Little Moda? Yeru the Soul is modeling the last one in this set on Flickr, as well as a wig from Licht and DollHeart shoes.

The set includes a burgundy knit cardigan, zip front halter dress, and a pair of black stockings. I have a blue version as well, from an earlier order. I'm really fond of this designer--I think the quality is quite good and the designs are cute.

This outfit is sized for SD16 girls, so it's a bit big for Yeru, who is about SD13 size. She wears it well just the same.

Camelia in Little Moda

Rosette Camelia (Soom) also gets to model a new outfit by Little Moda. She's wearing a DollHeart wig here, and her face-up is by 16-Bit Face-ups. The outfit includes a dress, beret, and knee socks.

While it's sized for Unoa, Miss Camelia can wear it quite well, though it's just a bit loose in the top.

Minifee Ante in Little Moda and Licht

Minifee M-Line Ante (Flower Garden version) finally got to spend some time in the spotlight with a new outfit from Little Moda. I discovered this company from Thailand on Etsy not too long ago, and I'm impressed with their attention to detail.

This outfit is sized for Unoa, and fits Ante pretty well. It includes a sleeveless navy dress with pink polkadots, featuring some cute pin tuck  detail in the bodice and a snap closure. I've accented the dress with a ribbon belt from another outfit by MegannArt.

The mint cardigan has working pockets and delicate lace trim which is perfectly to scale. The pink tights add just a bit of texture to the outfit and give it a little more versatility as well.

Casual clothing from DollHeart - just lovely!

Olivia, DM-000006

Lots of new stuff is available from DollHeart and their dealers, and I am delighted with the selection of lovely casual clothing. There is a new line, called D2 Casual Wear, which includes both single pieces and sets, for reasonable prices.

Above, you can see Olivia, available for preorder for $79.90. Sized for Dollfie Dream medium bust, this set includes the hat, top, fur collar, coat, pleated skirt, socks and panties. Super cute--I wonder if it would fit any of my current girls? (Did you know I can find out here--right on DollHeart's website--which clothing will fit my doll? They have posted a measurements guide online. It's very convenient!)

Next, there's Lauren, sized for YoSD girls. Another adorable casual outfit, this set includes the hat, bubble shorts, socks, ruffled shirt, denim jacket, scarf and bag.

One of my favorite pieces from May's preorder collection is this lovely one-piece dress. Here, you can see it on Luts Ani, sized for MSD. It's $32.90 in this size. Only the dress is included, as this is one of the separates available.

This dress can also be ordered for SD10/13 girls, so you can have twins! I think it's simply adorable. It's $34.90, and available for preorder now.

Mia, WD-000002

A new size for DollHeart, Mini Dollfie Dream, and their first outfit, Mia, is sure to be a success! I've checked her measurements, and she seems to be between MSD and Unoa. This outfit is $69.90 and includes the dress, cardigan, chain necklace, and socks. All the pieces (well, maybe not the socks) are available for purchase separately as well.

A few sneak peeks - Melissa is not yet available for preorder, and price has not yet been determined, but wow--it's cute! Sized for SD10/13 girl, this set includes the hat, coat, socks, belt, woven shirt, gold knit sweater and denim shorts. I've already got those shoes, and I think I see this outfit in my near future! The pieces are listed separately as well.

Another fun one-piece dress has been sneaked on DollHeart's site as well. This black number is being sold as a separate, also for SD10/13 girls, with no release date or price available at this time.

Isabella YD-000150 and Noah YD-000149

No DollHeart post is complete without something fantasy, and Isabella and Noah definitely fit the bill. No release date or price, and the pieces are being offered separately. Outfits are sized for YoSD. 

Isabella includes a pink eared hat, furry neck collar, one-piece, bloomers, socks, necklace, and a pair of bracelets. Noah includes a shirt, vest, shorts, grey bunny ears, and neck accessory. My guess is that the outfits without prices will be available for preorder in June. Eeek--they are so cute!

New! Segi twins from Peak's Woods!

Sculpted by KyungMin Lee, with limited edition make-up (including freckles!) by Dhar, there ae two new dolls coming soon!

First is the FoC Segi Twin, girl version. While I adore her red wig and bright blue eyes, it looks like she actually includes a random wig and eyes. You can choose her skin color (white or normal), and bust size (normal or small).

The base price of $567 includes a face-up, and is available May 21-31, when you pay in full. The discount isn't offered when you use lay-away.
After June 1-June 10 (or with lay-away), her base price is $620.
Special hands and feet are an additional $25 per pair.
The uniform adds $159, and includes a jacket, V-neck sweater, lined shirt, skirt, crest, bow tie, and black knee socks. Shoes are not included.

Next, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that the second FoC Twin Segi is a boy! He uses the new Dandy body, and you choose normal or white skin. He includes a random wig and eyes, too.

The base price of $603 includes a face-up, also with freckles, and is available May 21-31, when you pay in full. The discount isn't offered when you use lay-away. (Interestingly--his face-up doesn't include eyelashes. I didn't even notice he didn't have on eyelashes at the show.)

You can cosplay with your BJD for less when you use Nine9Style items. I've been able to locate some inexpensive items on Polyvore for your enjoyment, though you may need to plan ahead a little (that white pleated skirt may take some time to arrive). You may also be able to locate a few of these items for less on eBay.

The nice thing about a casual cosplay look is that the pieces will be able to function for everyday use in your wardrobe, without being too costume-y. Have fun at your next convention!

New sizes available from Nine9Style: EID and Lati Yellow!

I'm thrilled to be able to share the announcement that Nine9Style is now carrying EID (man and woman) sizes, as well as LaTi Yellow sizes. This clothing company also sells on eBay--so if you like to collect eBay's cash back (which as changed over the past few months, as I understand) you can also shop there.

Be sure to consider the sets that Nine9Style carries--you usually get a great deal. Several pieces of clothing will get a decent little discount! And the quality of these casual clothing is really, really fantastic.

I'm curious about the LaTi sizes--I have some DollHeart Lati sets that my Azone Pure Neemos can wear, and some of the Nine9Style sets are just too cute!

I just received the Mink Ball knitwear and one-piece set (now I have it in both grey and brown) with my latest Peak's Woods order, and it's just adorable. You can use the slip and the sweater separately--and the set is just $33 for both pieces. Let me include a real-life photo for you (Mintie is modeling--she's the tall blonde on the left):

Yeru: the quest for contemporary clothing

My quest for contemporary styles is going well, especially with my last (near excessive) Peak's Woods order. I used a 30% discount certificate, which caused some serious spending--three tiny tan dolls and lots of Nine9Style fashions.

I really love the styling of these clothes! They are well made, though not lined. I think the lack of lining makes them lay well on the BJD bodies, though.

The jeans--OMG--fabulous! Yeru is modeling them here. They including a front zip, stretch denim, working pockets (three or four in the front, and two in the back), belt loops, and real grommets. Also, real flat felled seams are used, and they aren't too thick.

The hoodie includes a matching tank top as well, and it's perfectly scaled--in fabric print and weight. Both are loose fit, so many different dolls could wear the outfit well.

I can't wait for more dolls to model these fabulous new outfits!

Ante in Nine9Style

Minifee Ante got some new outfits in my last order from Peak's Woods. It turns out that Nine9Style's MSD size fits these slim M-line bodies quite nicely.

I'm impressed with the quality as well--the styles are cute, contemporary, and versatile. Ante is wearing the dot hoodie and tee with a tulle skirt, both in white.
