Experimenting with Hybrids

BJD hybrids are always a great way to get a fabulous custom doll all your own, but when different parts of the doll come from different doll companies, finding a skintone match can be difficult.  Also, the age of the resin can be an issue.  After a good amount of research and searching for the right body, I decided to give my Peak's Woods normal skin Rogita head a Doll Chateau normal pink skin body (Y-03 girl body).  The body and head were slightly different in color, but a little body blushing blending the two together quite well and it's hard to even see the difference in photos.

Doll Chateau makes great exaggerated bodies with all kinds of extra joints.  I took the wrist and neck pieces out, but I love the doll this way.  What do you think?

Consider experimenting with doll bodies and heads.  It can be quite fun.
