Soom - Rosette Fairytale: new Alice in Wonderland dolls available

I'm supposed to be over Alice--but how will I resist these adorable girls? I love the Rosette body, and I have one girl, Camellia. She's so sweet. Now, three more limited edition girls are up on Soom's website. These three are available from March 7-27, 2014.

Check them out:

Vela, the Cheshire Cat - $288 base price (she uses the Muse Lady body), clear resin cat ears add $50, two hand parts $20 each, face-up $50, body blushing $48, eyes $25, wig $28, outfit $115, boots $46 - bringing the full set cost to: $670. I think I'd need the ears, face-up, and OMG--the lingerie. (I might prefer a Licht wig in pink.)

Fir, White Rabbit Ver. - $288 base price (Muse Girl body), clear resin bunny ears $50, choice of extra hand parts $20, face-up $50, body blushing $48, eyes $25, wig $28, outfit $118, shoes $46 - bringing the full set cost to: $673. If I got her, I wouldn't be able to live without the ears (so cute!), face-up and eyes, and pretty amazing outfit. I don't see the shoes, actually. I've always loved Fir--and this version--oh, so soft!

Sakura as Alice - Oh, my favorite! She has the perfect (almost vacant and frightened) Alice look, and I adore the lolita Alice outfit, complete with lingerie. $288 base price (Muse Lady body), ear parts (either cat or rabbit) $50, extra hands $20, face-up $50, body blushing $48, eyes $25, wig $28, outfit $112, shoes $46, which brings the full set cost to: $667. Wow.

These dolls are simply gorgeous! I may have to break down and order one. Ack! How to decide.

Lady Bee hybrid

Lady Bee hybrid by alington

One of the cool things about BJDs is the ability to make hybrid dolls. Doll Chateau Erica wasn't getting much attention at my house lately, so I decided to try a quick hybrid--her willowy body and Peak's Woods Lady Bee's head.

Both are white resin--Kid and Fairy of Bugs size--and a pretty good match for color and size. Lady Bee now has an amazing ability to pose and a brand new look. Her wardrobe is a little limited, however.

For me, though, it's like having a brand new doll. You can see her photoshoot on Flickr.

ChicLine Chloe is here!

After a short (hardly!) three-month wait, ChicLine Chloe has arrived. She's a gorgeous resin girl, and I ordered the full-set Bride of Darkness with a face-up on her sleeping faceplate. She is my first ChicLine, and only my second Fairyland doll, and she's quite amazing.

I've already misplaced her hand once--her hands and feet are attached to her body with magnets. I think the hand magnet could be a little stronger--since after looking everywhere in the house, I found it attached to one of the magnets in her back (in case I want to give her wings). I felt only a little stupid.

But other than that, I think she's perfect. She included a bustier, crown, veil, necklace and heels. I also received a pair of black pants with her as well, as a free gift. Additionally, she included two free faceplates--one looks to be LittleFee sized, and one is a ChicLine size--and I think these are the Nanuri faceplates, but I'm not 100% sure.

I'm finding it difficult to get anything done today, since I keep playing with her. I can't wait to do some redressing!

Doll Chateau Queena

Wow, oh wow.

The lovely full-set Queena by Doll Chateau has made her arrival, and I think she's simply stunning.

She is in the pink skin tone, and has a very unique company face-up. She includes pink glass eyes, which I may change to something darker.

Her body is the new Doll Chateau Kid size, and includes a neck extension, plus extra long and strange wrist and ankle joints. I love the willowy shape of her body, and she poses very well.

Her outfit is pretty crazy--she includes a feather head cap, swan hat, blouse, tunic, striped tights and a huge feathered duck-bottom shorts.

Morimoth as Alice

Don't I keep saying I'm "over" Alice?

As if that will ever happen! This is Peak's Woods normal skin Morimoth, making her appearance in DollHeart's wonderful outfit called Alice 2012. It's just adorable--the details are simply fantastic.

Her wig is by Leeke, and her boots also by DollHeart.

It's a boy!

Punky Beetle by alington

Ok, BJD fans, it's time to play the lottery. The day has come--it's a cold day, as they say.

It's a boy--in my BJD collection!

Meet adorable Punky Beetle! He's a normal skin boy, Fairy of Bugs, by Peak's Woods, 42 cm tall, and he's super cute!

Here, he's dressed in Rabbit Fantasia by Dollheart. Wig and shoes are also by Dollheart.

... And happy birthday!

Doll Chateau Erica by alington

It's the most... wonderful... time... of the year!

My birthday is in early January, and Doll Chateau Erica made an early arrival, as well. I'm so spoiled.

She has a face-up by Jay Searle, and she's just gorgeous. She came from Denver Doll. You can see more photos of this pouty thing on Flickr.

She's a little hard to fit, with her willowy limbs, small bust and large hips. I managed to squeeze her hips into a negligee for Peggy Harcourt (Tonner Doll's curvy body), and a top made for City Girls by Tonner Toys.

Wake-Up Romantic Lady Bee

In the cabinet by alington

She's arrived - and I adore her.

By Peak's Woods, this is Wake-Up Romantic Lady Bee. Maybe she needs her own name. ;) And yes, those are elf ears.

She's in a Volks MSD dress, and a Leeke wig.

Mia de Butterfly

Even cuter in real life, Peak's Woods Mia de Butterfly has made her grand arrival! She's on a Fairy of Bugs body, which is mini size BJD, 42 cm.

My girl has a default face-up by Peak's Woods, white skin, and a large bust (still pretty girly). She is available for sale on Peak's Woods website.

Here, she is wearing DollHeart's Juana, and a wig, also by Juana.
